TIM KRAUSE

Director

Tim merged his financial consultancy business with Len McKewin in February 2004. Over the following six or seven years the business evolved and in 2011 Tim finalised the transition with Len.

Tim primarily works with small and medium sized business owners to help them grow their revenues, profits and business value. His objective is to help clients solve their tax and financial problems plus help them capitalize on emerging opportunities in their business and industry. At the same time he helps clients navigate their way and avoid any potential pitfalls.

Tim says, “Our team goal is to be very knowledgeable about our clients’ businesses. We make an effort to understand your business and the issues that confront your specific industry. In turn, this helps us develop the right strategies for your business or farm and also select the right tools to help you with financial reporting, tax planning, wealth creation and other business issues.”

As Tim says, “Clients come to us looking for solutions to their tax, management accounting, succession planning and cashflow problems and we speak a language our clients understand. We really help business owners understand their numbers, improve their results and help them spend more time working ON their business rather than working IN their business”.   

Experience and Specialties

Tim’s specialist technical skills include tax planning, business structures, consulting and financial management. He is passionate about the success of his clients and specializes in the construction, hospitality, agriculture and real estate industries. With over 15 years experience in public accounting he is a business start-up specialist and believes clients want more than just 'number crunching' from their accountant. His mission is to help clients grow their business, their profits and make their businesses more valuable and saleable.

Community Involvement

In addition to his work with Fusion Financial Group he is also the Director – Finance for the Red & White Foundation Ltd, Board member of Save the Bilby Fund Ltd and is Treasurer at St John’s Lutheran Church Ipswich. Tim is also involved with Ipswich Grammar School, primarily through its rugby program.

Outside of Work
Tim and his wife Alison have two teenage children, Michael and Christian. He loves coaching and watching Rugby with the boys at Ipswich Rangers and IGS.  Tim and his family also operate a small cattle operation on their family farm at Marburg, incorporating Malabar Red Brahman Stud.

PAUL MANTEIT

Supervisor

Paul joined Fusion Financial Group in March 2016 as a supervisor. He brings with him extensive experience in a variety of finance related disciplines ranging from business analyst roles to public accounting roles in some of the world’s largest firms. Paul’s in depth tax knowledge has assisted many clients to achieve favourable tax outcomes and helped drive business efficiencies through the implementation of quality structuring and business advice.

Experience and Specialties

Paul has over 10 years experience in the finance industry and specialises in small to medium sized businesses and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Paul’s services include year end tax compliance, BAS preparation, business structuring advice and business consulting.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his young family. He also participates in a variety of sports ranging from Golf to Motorsport and anything in between.

CORINNE SPOWART

Client Manager

Corinne has been with Fusion Financial Group since 2004 and during that time has expanded her skills to cater for the ever growing client base.  Corinne adopts a very ‘hands on’ approach and believes that visiting clients at their place of business gives you a valuable insight into their operations, staffing and finance needs.

Experience and Specialties

Corinne has over 10 years experience in public accounting and predominantly works with micro to small sized enterprises. Since joining the firm in 2004, she has mentored a number of clients from start ups through to very successful and profitable businesses.

She provides a full range of services to clients including quarterly BAS returns and general compliance plus she also offers tax planning and business structure advice. She also enjoys discussing clients marketing plans and her expertise extends to various industries including building and construction, beauty therapy, hairdressing and investment properties. Outside of Work:

Corinne was born and raised in Ipswich.  She loves travelling and has made a number of trips overseas during the past few years. She also likes spending time with her family and particularly spoiling her nephews. Her other interests include sport and spending time with friends and family.

LEI  YANG

Senior Accountant

Lei joined the team in 2011 and works as a tax accountant preparing all types of income tax returns. Apart from his compliance expertise he also provides advice regarding self managed super funds, tax planning and business structures. His ongoing commitment to professional development ensures he is always up to date with the latest taxation legislation and He prides himself on his availability and dedication to his clients.

Experience and Specialties

Lei is and . His IT knowledge is a real strength and he is very comfortable talking about alternative accounting software programs like MYOB, XERO and Quickbooks. His focus is helping our small business clients minimize their tax and maximize their business profits.

Outside of Work

Lei migrated from China in 2004 to pursue university degree in Australia and settled on Gold Coast with his wife and a little boy in 2013. He spends most of his time with his family. He enjoyed the time to bring his family out to parks, beaches and restaurants.  He is also interested in music and movies.

AMY WILSON

Client Services Administrator/Bookkeeper
Amy joined the firm in January 2010 as a trainee receptionist and has developed many skills to help with our ever expanding client base. Amy is our 'go to' person when new clients arrive with their books in a mess.  She particularly enjoys the satisfaction of turning a ‘shoebox’ into a well-ordered set of financials.

Experience and Specialties

Amy’s varied background including retail/customer service roles have given her a fantastic grounding in working with all our clients. She loves helping clients and enjoys a challenge. Amy is responsible for client services, assisting Tim with business development and general practice administration

Outside of Work

Amy and her partner Garrath are kept busy with their new home and puppy “Myla“.  Outside of this, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

EMMA STAINES

Receptionist

Emma joined the firm as a trainee receptionist in June 2013. She is a very important member of our team being the ‘Director of First impressions’ handling reception duties.  Responsible for client services and practice document management, her gregarious, outgoing personality make her a key member of the Fusion team.

Outside the office she is busy with her partner Brendan and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
